Beautiful villa surrounded by lush gardens with amazing views. Helpful and friendly staff. Spacious and well-furnished rooms and bathrooms. Delicious breakfast with a variety of options.
Occasional disorganization with housekeeping staff and difficulty reaching them via phone. Limited car access due to narrow gate and steep driveway.

Absolutely stunning B&B! The staff were sooo nice, loved the fresh juice! The bathroom was like a spa. The gardens were lovely, even got to see the vineyard. Can't wait to go back!
Oh, the joy of not being able to specify my arrival time and the fun of climbing the steep streets to get to the city. Such a delight!

Great value for money, with a warm and friendly welcome. The spacious rooms offer magnificent views over the city and gardens. Breakfast is excellent, with an extensive variety of tasty options to choose from. The location is perfect, close to key areas of interest, such as the city center and public transportation.
Be mindful of Mosquitoes in the early evenings and the steep walk uphill. The website should be clearer about the shared kitchen facilities.

The breakfast was decent and the views were amazing, especially because it was located on a hill. It was also great to see the grapeyards and sheep on the property. Another plus is the spacious room and comfortable bed, which came in handy after a long day of work.
Getting to the hotel is a nightmare. There are no close eating or shopping places, and even the bus service is not frequent.

The location is convenient for exploring the city, with several attractions within walking distance and easy access to the city's center. the rooms are large and come with a spacious bathroom, while the service is satisfactory. Breakfast on the terrace is a relaxed way to start your day, and the gardens around the estate are pleasant to explore. You can also use the kitchen and living room, which is convenient.
The internet coverage is poor in certain rooms, which could be frustrating for those who need to stay connected.

The hotel offered great value for money, with comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. The breakfast was simple but tasty, with a variety of options including cheeses, ham, croissants. The location was also ideal, close to the city center but surrounded by quiet vineyards and tropical fruits.
The coffee machine was not up to par, producing poor quality cappuccinos from capsules. Additionally, if you wanted to eat in a restaurant, you had to travel downtown which could be a bit inconvenient.

The house was so cool, with a sick garden and an insane view. Margarida, the host, was the bomb! She hooked us up with all the best spots for hiking and swimming, and even checked the weather for us. Our holiday in Madeira was off the hook thanks to Quinta Das Malvas!
The only thing we wished for was a more lit party scene nearby. We're young and love to party, so having a happening nightlife close by would have taken our stay to the next level.
